“Not Moving To PSG”- Arsenal’s 25-Years-Old Star Player’s Agent Dismisses His Rumours Of A Move To PSG

The representative of Arsenal striker Nicolas Pepe has dismissed rumours that the Ivorian may be moving to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) this summer. The rumours have been circulating for some time.

Pepe, who is 25 years old and now plays for Arsenal, has reportedly been linked with a move away from the club after a dismal run at the Emirates Stadium since joining the Gunners from Lille for £72 million.

Pepe has only appeared in 23 games so far this season. But he has already tallied three goals and contributed six assists. The Gunners no longer see him as a first-team player. Thus, it is believed that he will leave the club soon.

Arsenal receives a boost

Luis Campos is expected to take over as the director of the Paris Saint-Germain football club. It has been speculated that he may try to bring him the player to PSG. Pepe was a player in Lille when he served as the manager while the team competed in Ligue 1.

However, Luis Ferrer’s agent shot down reports on Twitter that Pepe may join Campos at the Parc des Princes by stating (via PSG Talk):

“Nicolas Pépé, who plays for our team, has never been considered for a position at Paris Saint-Germain.”

The Ivorian winger has made 112 appearances over his three years in north London, during which he has scored 27 goals and contributed 21 assists.

The striker returned from representing Cote d’Ivoire at the African Cup of Nations in February. There was a belief that he may be allowed to compete for a position with the team. He had a productive tournament with the Elephants. He contributed to their success by scoring two goals and providing an assist over the four games played.

But he has not been able to remove Mikel Arteta’s attackers, with the likes of Bukayo Saka, Eddie Nktetiah, or Gabriel Martinelli. It is still unknown whether or not Paris Saint-Germain will attempt to acquire the Ivorian striker.
