Arsenal Has Come Up With An Offer For Real Madrid Star Player

Arsenal is ready to compete with Newcastle United in the hunt to recruit Real Madrid’s undesired superstar, Eden Hazard

Arsenal News: According to Foot Mercato, Eden Hazard might be on the brink of a return to the Premier League. Despite his troubles in Spain, the Real Madrid winger is in the good books of Premier League teams. So it’s no surprise that many Premier League teams would welcome the gifted attacker back.

Newcastle United is a possible destination for Hazard next season. The Magpies have amassed substantial financial resources and would be ready to spend heavily to bolster their attacking options. However, it looks like they will be up against heavy competition from Premier League rivals Arsenal in their pursuit of the Belgian international forward.

Following the report, Arsenal has made communication with Real Madrid to inquire about the possibilities of signing Hazard during the summer transfer window. It seems that the Belgian has surfaced as a viable alternative in Mikel Arteta’s ambitions to bolster his offensive line with some considerable firepower for the next season.

He was a standout player for Chelsea throughout his time there. He is expected to continue to do so with his new club. In only 245 Premier League games, he scored 85 goals and added 61 assists for the Blues. His talents were critical in helping the Blues win two Premier League championships during his time with the club.

What is in store in Eden Hazard’s Future?

Hazard’s outstanding performance earned him a transfer to Real Madrid in 2019. However, injuries have hampered the Belgian’s ability to live up to the high expectations placed on him during his time at Real Madrid. There have only been 65 appearances for the attacker in all in that period. The attacker scored just six goals in that time frame.

Despite Hazard’s troubles at Real Madrid, the Gunners are still showing interest in signing the Belgian. It seems that Arteta has identified him as a possible successor for Nicolas Pepe. He is expected to depart the club after failing to live up to the high expectations placed on him when he signed for the club.

Arsenal, on the other hand, must not overlook the threat posed by Newcastle United. After all, the Magpies are on their way to becoming one of the wealthiest clubs in Europe. With the Gunners being a direct opponent of Hazard’s old club Chelsea, it would not be strange if the Belgian chose to leave for St James’ Park in the summer.
