Big European Giants Target Antonio Rudiger, Premier League Clubs Might Also Try To Persuade German Centre-back

Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are understood to be in frequent contact with Antonio Rudiger

The representatives of Antonio Rudiger are in frequent contact with the representatives of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report by Sky Sports. Even though he is in the last six months of his Chelsea deal, the German defender is free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with another team.

Since joining Chelsea from AS Roma in July 2017, Antonio Rudiger has been through a rollercoaster of emotions. Having established himself in a crucial role for the Blues since Thomas Tuchel was appointed as the club’s new manager, the 29-year-old is presently enjoying the finest moment of his career.

So far, the German international has made a total of 186 appearances for Chelsea, with 37 of them coming in the Premier League. Because Rudiger has reached the last six months of his contract, the Blues are in some serious trouble about his long-term future. Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are both interested in signing the Chelsea defender. He is allowed to sign a pre-contract deal with a foreign team.

Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have been two of Rudiger’s most significant potential suitors outside of the United Kingdom. According to recent rumours, the two European giants have already made proposals to the Chelsea defender in an attempt to negotiate a pre-contract deal with the defender.

Los Blancos are looking for Antonio Rudiger because of lack of defensive options

Real Madrid is interested due to a lack of quality backup for Eder Militao and David Alaba. Jesus Vallejo has failed to persuade Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti that he is capable of making an impact in the club’s first team. Nacho is at best a backup option and is approaching the age of thirty. As a consequence, Real Madrid may try to add a centre-back to their squad during the summer transfer window.

Sergio Ramos has battled to maintain his fitness since joining Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer from Real Madrid last summer. Meanwhile, Abdou Diallo’s future at Parc des Princes is in doubt, while Presnel Kimpembe has been linked with a move to Chelsea in recent weeks. PSG may have to look for a centre-back in the transfer market, with Rudiger a possible candidate.

Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United have also been linked with a move for Rudiger in addition to Real Madrid and PSG. Foreign teams, on the other hand, have a unique advantage since they may attempt to strike an arrangement with the Chelsea defender. Having said that, Rudiger will not decide on his future until after the season gets concluded, out of respect for Chelsea. It will be interesting to watch what decision the German defender makes.
